Helen is a member of the Canberra Writers Group, the Independent Scholars Association of Australia, the Australian Society of Authors, the ACT Writers Centre, the Canberra Society of Editors, and the Alliance of Independent Authors.
She writes books, gives author talks, and edits academic theses and fiction and nonfiction writing.
AWARDS
2025 National Gallery of Australia Volunteer of the Year Award – for contributing many interesting articles on the Gallery and its collection, and her guiding experiences.
2023 MARION ACT Notable Book Award for nonfiction.
